We are a community of practitioners who come together for meditation and dharma sharing. Our practice is inspired by the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh as well as other teachers within the Buddhist tradition. Newcomers are always welcome.

This year guiding teacher Yenkuei Chuang will offer her teachings and support for our sangha with a program called “A Year In Mindfulness".

We will create a strong practice of mindfulness by:
1) looking deeply into ourselves and our conditioning,
2) reading and studying the teachings of the historical Buddha and modern mindfulness teachers,
3) paying attention to the truth we find in everyday life, and
4) creating a community of practitioners to support each other on this path.
As a result of this practice, we will transform some of our more challenging mental habits and find more ease and joy in daily life. Yenkuei will be available to meet with you one-on-one to discuss any questions about your practice and process what comes up as you transform.

Drop-ins welcome although regular attendance is strongly recommended for the whole year.

Dr. Yenkuei Chuang is a mindfulness-based licensed psychologist and an ordained member of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of Interbeing. She received her M.Ed. in Human Development from Harvard University and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Stanford University. Also a Fulbright Fellow, she wrote her dissertation on Bicultural Competence. Previously she worked as a clinical psychologist at Harvard University Health Services and a diversity consultant at Harvard Pilgrim Foundation. Dr. Chuang is keenly interested in helping people transform their suffering across life transitions; and cultural, gender, racial and other perceived differences and separations. She enjoys being a mother to her four children, writing, cooking and dancing. Dr. Chuang has also been a long-term student in Iyengar Yoga, and she happily integrates her studies of yoga and Buddhist meditation.
