Beth Grannon

Beth Grannon

As a child, I studied ballet and gymnastics, and was in love with both. I felt great freedom in both of these forms of movement. As such, it was no surprise that when I entered my very first yoga class shortly after graduating college, I felt instantly at home. All that I had loved about ballet and gymnastics - grace, flexibility, balance, and strength - was there on my mat.

I believe that the potential for growth in yoga is limitless. Now over 2 decades into my exploration of yoga, my curiosity, and passion for this practice grows every time I get on my mat. As a teacher, I want to share this with my students, whether they have been practicing for 5 days or 5 decades.

My classes are thoughtful and quietly challenging. My teaching is influenced by many styles of yoga and various trainings I have completed. It is my intention to weave all I have studied and experienced in my own practice into each class I offer.

I received my 200hr certification from YOGAspirit in 2005 and 500hr certification from Barbara Benagh in 2012.

Most recently, I have completed certificates in: Levels 1 and 2 of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Restorative Yoga teacher training, the Art of Touch, Yoga for Anxiety and Depression, and Level 1 of Thai Yoga Massage.

I am available for private sessions which weave yoga, yoga therapy, and Thai yoga massage together.

"Therapy doesn't have to be serious, it doesn't have to be formal, it just has to be about you. This is a chance to talk freely without worrying about other people's feelings or judgement. My job is to be an objective, calming, comfortable and validating presence. I am honored to hold this space for you.

The goal of therapy is to become confident and comfortable with who you are and in your personal, professional and familial relationships. This is a chance for you to discover and appreciate yourself with compassion. Let's get together and start getting it together!"
